As with other industries, the heating industry is still experiencing a problem with new boiler supplies. Manufacturers are having difficulty in obtaining components. Some manufacturers have stopped production of certain models, some have cut production. This is resulting in a shortage of boiler availability. We are also being hit with regular price increases from the manufacturers and merchants. The standard annual price increase had been replaced with as often as monthly increases.

Wilson Plumbing and Heating have invested a substantial amount to secure a good supply of the boilers most used. This is to ensure that we are able to support our customers that need reactive boiler replacements. We must be able to respond quickly, and importantly, install a quality boiler with a long guarantee. Don’t get caught out by accepting an inferior boiler with a shorter length guarantee just because that is all your installer can get hold of. We can supply Worcester gas boilers with up to 12 years guarantee. Worcester oil boilers have a seven year guarantee.

You might be considering changing your boiler in the near future. You might think your boiler is of an age it is nearing the end of its life. You may be aware of a problem that is starting to cause concern and might cause a boiler breakdown in the near future. We are all thinking of efficiency given the extreme price increases of late, so you want to improve efficiencies to reduce gas and electricity consumption.

We would strongly recommend that you consider a replacement sooner rather than later. We are happy to provide a free survey and quotation. Why not plan ahead and schedule a replacement? Avoid having the worry of the boiler actually breaking down in the middle of winter. Boiler supply shortages and with winter being the busiest time of year, the replacement might not be available as quickly as you would like.
